Currently, I work at Lotsa, a fast food pizza restaurant emphasizing quality (it's like a pizza version of Subway). I have worked there since opening in October 2015 and first started as a sales associate. Due to rapid growth, and managers opening new stores across the U.S., I was promoted to shift leader.
As a shift leader, I assisted in managing the store, delegated tasks to improve efficiency, and facilitated daily processes to enhance customer experience and a better work environment.
Since then, I have moved into more of a brand ambassador role, where I promote the company across campus. Additionally, I compose market research to bring new ideas or implement more effective actions.
Over the summer, I interned for an Italian restaurant and oversaw the retail, wholesale, and catering divisions of business. The first task I took head-on was establishing a presence on social media. This helped expose the brand to a vast amount of people, which increased word of mouth and attracted new customers. After successfully generating new business, I crafted a company website. This is important to any business in today's tech-driven world, so I knew a website would help the Italian Taxi be more successful.

Most of my efforts were put towards wholesale and catering, as I was in full control of these two subdivisions. While working in the wholesale division, I consistently attained new business by partnering with new companies while maintaining relation with existing customers. The catering part of business was less than a year old when I came in, and only had one customer. I saw the catering division as an area that had great potential and that could grow rapidly, so I presented the idea of branching that part of business off as it's own. After approval of the owner, I named the catering business "The Kitchen" and immediately started creating a menu and a separate website. After completion, I took action in seeking new business for The Kitchen and began advertising.

By the end of the internship, I obtained five new partners for wholesale business (e.g. Giant, Walmart, Wegmans) and 12 customers for The Kitchen (e.g. PPG, Land O' Lakes, Carlisle High School). Furthermore, I was able to help increase total monthly sales by almost 20%.
