Public Service Announcement
Client Project

Working together with my team, we designed a public service announcement that promotes healthy eating and living. We chose to create this advertisement in hopes of motivating viewers to change their daily life.
We received feedback from 200 real consumers, and about 75% of them wanted to live healthier after viewing the ad.

Another part of this project was to individually create a co-branding strategy. I chose to co-brand with Patagonia because this will expose my brand to a new market and allow all our consumers to know that HealthyU is truly about being a healthier you in all aspects of life, not just the food choices you make. In partnering with Patagonia, the ultimate goal is to motivate consumers to eat better, feel better, and live better.
In this project, I worked together with my team to create a marketing plan for Steel City Products, a division of Bostwock-Braun; who is the largest wholesale distributor in the Midwest.

The first step we took in taking Steel City Products to the next level was creating a brochure. We decided to provide this marketing tool to Steel City because they needed something to expand their consumer base. The brochure outlines everything a potential client could need and highlights services and advantages of working with Steel City Products to display that they are the perfect partner.
The next step in changing Steel City Products look was improving their logo. The logo takes aspects of the old one and ties in our new ideas. We changed the font to modernize the logo and added Pittsburgh's skyline to represent Steel City Product's hometown.
Since Steel City Products is such a large company, the new logo has not yet been incorporated onto their website because the old logo is still being used on business cards, letter head, and other business documents, and Steel City Products would like to keep those consistent until they can change everything at once.

In addition to creating a new logo, we thought it was necessary to re-design their website. We kept the content the same upon request, but the layout, fonts, color scheme, contrast, etc. were major flaws with the website. Throughout this process, we decided to keep it simple to maximize readability and attractiveness.

In completion of the re-design, Steel City Products was very pleased with our work and agreed that the website looked much better.
